Spinnaker Bradner | SP-5121-77 – This Bradner collection is a tribute to American physicist Hugh Bradner, best known for inventing the neoprene wetsuit and his participation in the Manhattan Project, which helped develop the atomic bomb in World War 2. These watches are assembled in Hong Kong with features like GMT, domed sapphire crystal lens, Swiss Newliete Lume, and super fun Beige Line color scheme.
The watch ships with a matching rubber strap and stainless bracelet. The bracelet is a little jankey as the clasp does not stay down but it looks nice and wears well. The lume is on the applied indices and bezel.
Spinnaker Bradner GMT Automatic NH-34 | Beige Linen color scheme – I forgot who I saw post up their Spinnaker watch but it got me to their website, find this color combo, do the 25% off and place my order. I am not an official GMT enthusiast…more confusing than not for me….I have a variety of international “clocks” as an app on my phone and I instinctively know the time difference between Las Vegas and Rome, Italy. But, I thought this was a cool fresh look. Arrives in a nice box with the rubber strap and the steel bracelet. Traveling to the Grand Caymans, I used the rubber strap. High quality but, it was almost too much color matching for me. I do not have a silver bracelet like this and I like the look better most of the time but the locking clasp on the back is janky and does not close tight. I do like the domed bezel for the 3D effect and it is about fun colors but maybe a once a month watch or when I head to the nudist beach and wear nothing else. 😂🤪🤠🚀
