RGMT Tritium Automatic Grey Steel | RG-8046-33 – Yep, I got THAT email. NO, not the penis enlargement email but THIS WATCH IS ON SALE EMAIL! 🤪I do not remember signing up for emails from RGMT but they are a part of the Dartmouth Group based in Hong Kong and in some regards are a master umbrella for many microbrands.
I own a Spinnaker watch and a Phoibos which are separate brands under the Dartmouth umbrella, so that is why I probably received the email.
I have had this watch two whole days and there are already so many features I like about this watch.
- Unique textured dial – I have not seen anything like this.
- I had wanted to add a “tritium” watch to my collection. Instead of “super-lume” these are mini tritium tubes that do not require regeneration of light to illuminate. At first, as I was trying to shoot some images of the tritium, it did not really translate well like super-lume. But, then I slept with the watch and once your eyes adjust, and it is dark, it is really great.
- I liked the Bugatti blue and yellow color scheme with the polished steel case. Unlike my Phoibus watch that has a blue dial and blue background for the date (which makes it harder to read), this date window is legible.
- The watch comes with a very nice bracelet, but quickly I tried out my fav Bugatti blue FKM strap and that I thought looked perfect. Then, I discovered the urban camo rubber strap on Amazon, and now we have a perfect match!
Ok, you meant to ask? How much was it on sale for? The website shows a list price of $1150.00 but, on sale for $179. This is easily a $500 watch, so the $179 tastes great and it shipped quickly! Def in my Top Ten for watch rotation!
